John Upton was initially drawn to this room by the sound of Rage Against The Machine pulsating down the hallway. When he traced the sound to NHT, he was mightily impressed by the quantity and quality of the music generated by this modestly priced offering. For those looking to stick their feet in the high-end door without spending a small fortune, the SuperTwos are an excellent starting point. In the bang-for-the-buck department, the NHT/Audiolab combination deserves a Standout mention. |

At $750 per pair, the new NHT SuperTwo loudspeakers offer plenty of
performance for a reasonable price. The SuperTwo is a floorstanding loudspeaker with a
1" dome tweeter, a 6.5" midrange, and a 6.5" downward-firing low-bass
driver. The SuperTwos were being driven by the excellent and reasonably priced Audiolab
8000-series electronics.
