Dave Duvall said, "I haven’t heard a room at a show yet that the Lamm products didn’t sound good in." The rest of us shrugged our shoulders because we couldn’t disagree. Of course, a great system is made up of great components.

With the Artemis Eos Signature loudspeakers ($8,295 per pair as shown in walnut burl) and Bass Modules ($6,595 per pair, also in walnut burl) the sound was full range, exceptionally rich with tremendous depth. Vladimir Shushurin, Lamm’s president and designer, alternated between the Lamm ML1 tube amplifiers ($19,980 per pair) and the M2.1 solid-state amplifiers ($15,090). The Accuphase PP-25 CD player was connected to the Lamm L1 line-stage preamplifier ($6,990) . MACwire products were used for all cabling: Delta speaker cable, $1,325; Delta interconnect, $950/m; Sigma 3 power cord, $520; Delta power cord, $685. Other room accessories included ASC Tube Traps, Bright Star Audio products, and a VansEvers Model 85 power conditioner (approximately $650).
