There was plenty of
well-earned buzz regarding the new Nucleus Micro three-piece loudspeaker system from
Anthony Gallo Acoustics. The $699 system consists of two 4" spheres, each with a
3" full-range driver, plus a larger-diameter subwoofer ball. As with many satellite
systems, the subwoofer can be placed discretely to the side. The small balls can be
mounted on walls or used with optional, cool-looking curved stands (approximately $100 for
the pair).
