This year's CEDIA Expo is being held for the
first time in Atlanta, Georgia, at the Georgia World Congress Center.
It's the 20th anniversary for CEDIA.
The change in location along with the downturn in the
economy has resulted in a press room that's less busy than in past years. On the bright
side, it's easier to get coffee and food.
Overall attendance seems down this year, but
on opening day the lobby was quite crowded.
When the doors opened at 10 a.m. on
September 10, the crowd rushed in.
Given the heightened security you see everywhere, we were
surprised to see a set of keys left in a door. Mistakes do happen! In case you're
wondering, yes, we pulled them out and turned them in.
