Don't count SACD out just yet. Very late in the game comes the Mark Levinson No.512 ($15,000), a fully balanced CD/SACD player. Details are sketchy, but the No.512 certainly looks like a typical well-engineered Mark Levinson product.

This cool-blue meter can signal only one thing.

Likr the McIntosh MXA-60, the Infinity Prelude Forty commemorates an anniversary, in this case Infinity's 40th year in business. The tall, sleek speakers use Infinity's flat-panel midrange along with a pair of woofers whose output is said to cancel internally, producing cleaner bass.
