Divergent Technologies
(All prices in US dollars unless otherwise indicated.)

As he did at CES, Tash Goka of Divergent Technologies put together a terrific-sounding system of various products that he carries. Antique Sound Lab AQ 1000-845 mono amps ($4995 CAD/pair) drove Reference 3A Veena speakers ($8880 CAD/pair), which might be Tash's hottest product right now. An EMM Labs CDSA SE CD/SACD player ($9995) fed the intriguing Antique Sound Lab Flora EX DT hybrid preamp ($3495 CAD). Cabling was from van den Hul.

As you can see in the picture, Tash did nothing special to the room; he didn't even move the lamp behind one of the speakers. Yet the sound was airy, mellifluous and big. Tash has hit upon a significant combination of products here.
